Hong Kim (Founder/Owner) fused a marriage of generations-old Authentic Korean recipes passed down from his mother and his own extensive experience in the realm of fine dining. With a menu that reflects the rich cultural tapestry of Korea and the vibrant culinary scene of California, Seoul Food 831 stands as a testament to the creativity, passion, and dedication of its founder.
Crafting a visual identity for Seoul Food 831 was a delightful challenge. Razorwire Design synthesized the rich heritage of Korean cuisine and the diverse culinary landscape of California by fusing elements of the Korean flag, Asian food, brushstroke fonts, and Swiss Design. The result is a beautifully executed identity that conveys authentic food inspired by Mom’s home cooking from the “831.”
